Juniper Kitchen and Wine Bar

On a bright, warm and beautiful evening, Juniper Kitchen and Wine Bar hosted an Industry Party to launch their new Urban Terrace.
It's a lovely spot, sheltered by the roof of the building, the area is beautifully decorated with bamboo, water fountains and rock. Right on the side of Wellington Street, this will be the perfect place to sip some cold wine, dine on their great food and people watch.
Everyone from the food scene was at this party. I am going to beg the owners for their mailing list - because these are the people you want at your party. Chefs, servers, managers and owners arrived to a beautiful offering of beverages - perfect for a nice summer evening. Some great wines, Beaus Beer, martinis and Whalesbone Oysters. (Josh told me that by the end of the evening, they had shucked about 600 oysters).
Owners Chef Richard Negro (left), and Norm Aitken were beaming from the feedback and turnout for their launch party. We had a great chat and I discovered some interesting things about their backgrounds and how they've brought Juniper to where they are today. It's an interesting story and we'll be talking about them in our next issue.
It is one of the things I love most about my job today. Meeting great people that are committed to providing their guests with the finest food and service available.
Juniper is one of the spots you need to visit regularly. Their staff are incredible and their new location is a spectacularly comfortable space with floor to ceiling windows and spacious comfortable seating.
I am looking forward to hearing about what motivates this dynamic team and look forward to many more great times at this amazing place.
