To donate an auction item to the FoodMODE Charity Auction is very simple and greatly appreciated.
Donating an item is a great way to help our charities, but it also will provide you with exceptional exposure
for your business. You will have a captive audience browsing your product as well as there is a direct link to
your website to allow people to decide if they want to bid on your item.

It is a "WIN WIN WIN" situation.

* You win by promoting your business and product to a large captive audience.
* The Ottawa Mission and The Ottawa Food Bank win with the revenue from the auctions.
* And the bidder wins by getting a great deals!

We are encouraging our supporters to donate items of any value, however, the greater the value, the longer
the item will stay on the auction site. And the longer the item is on the site, the more exposure for your
business.

For eg. (stated amounts =retail value of auction item)
item under $50 stays on auction for 5 days
item of $51 - $100 stays on auction for one week
item of $101 - 200 - stays on auction for 2 weeks
item of $201 - 400 - stays on auction for 3 weeks
item of $400 or higher stays on auction for a month

Items valued at $1500 or more may have any auction length requested and will be placed in
priority viewing positions.

All auction items may have a reserve price requested to ensure a minimum donation to the charities.
